Location: Grande Prairie, Alberta

Original Structure: 1800 mm dia. CSP x 35 m invert length culvert. 3670 mm dia. SPCSP x 33.5 m invert length culvert. 2000 mm dia. CSP x 49 m invert length culvert. 2 1600 mm dia. CSP x 22 m invert length culvert.

Repairs: Install steel struts inside the culverts.

MPA recommended repairing the culvert by adding struts to extend the life of the structure. The Contractor was requested by MPA to clean the culvert prior to installing the struts in order to provide a uniform bearing along the floor and crown of the culvert.

Roles and Responsibilities: Design, Tender Preparation, Construction Supervision, Post Construction.
